science link of the day
so i'm hoping to make this a daily feature of this site
this is an article in scientific american. it's interesting to me because i love astronomy, and because it points out one of the most interesting paradoxes of science: scientific investigations can often raise more questions than they answer. but really, i think that's one of the things that so neat about it.
and related to this sentiment, i found this quote in a book once and wrote it down, but it expresses my views on science:
"Sometimes the most important contribution a scientist can make is not to supply an answer; but rather to point out that the questions can be asked." - Steven Weinberg, "The First 3 Minutes" Link
